The East Coast Ice 2Line League is designed to offer players who are seeking Maximum Development opportunities a chance to enhance their skills and grow in a fun and engaging environment during the short 5-7 week spring season. The ice sessions are carefully structured to strike a balance between skill development and enjoyment, ensuring players improve their abilities while also cultivating a passion for the game of hockey.
Maximum Development
Each team will consist of 10 players and 1-2 goaltender. This structure ensures players receive ample exposure to coaching feedback and plenty of on-ice time, giving them the chance to apply the skills they’ve been working on, every second shift.
Maximum Fun
Our signature 2Line Hockey League fosters a positive and enjoyable atmosphere where players can have fun, build chemistry with their teammates, and forge lasting friendships.
Practice Development
Each 2Line team will have 6 hours of split-ice practice, focusing on both individual and team development. Teams also have the option to add additional practice sessions if the parent group decides to do so.
Game Development
Our 2Line program will provide players with 12-14 games and teams will participate in a 8 game league schedule which will help us tier teams appropriately for the Spring 2Line Classic.
Team Selection
Each team will consist of 6 forwards, 4 defensemen, and 1-2 goaltender. Coaches will select players through minor hockey scouting and assessments.
This league is for competitive and recreative players, no AAA players will be allowed
Free Agent Players
Players who wish to participate but are not on a roster can add their name to the Free Agent List by emailing mathieu@eastcoastice.ca.
